William A. Stavros has worked as a trial lawyer in  Maryland for over 22 years.  Prior to that he worked as a Radio Producer and talk show host.

He graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1996.  In 1989 he graduated Magna Cum Laude, with a degree in Philosophy and a minor in    Anthropology, from the University of Maryland       Baltimore County, where he focused on Philosophy of the Mind and Philosophy of Language.

 

William will be giving a presentation on Enneagrams. The Enneagram is a 3 x 3 arrangement of nine    personality types in three Centers. Some of the businesses that have used the Enneagram within their organizations are – Adobe, Amoco, AT&T, Avon Products, Boeing Corporation, The DuPont Company, e Bay, Prudential Insurance, General Mills Corporation,   General Motors, Kodak, Hewlett Packard, Proctor & Gamble, Motorola, Prudential Insurance, Sony, and Conoco-Phillips.

This presentation offers an introduction to the nine basic personality types or styles of coping. Understanding the different styles and the motivations that drive people is useful in assisting anyone who interacts with other personalities.  It helps understand them with more accuracy and clarity. This tool is also very useful in understanding ourselves, our motivations and our relations with others and conflict situations.

Human personality types and the types of birds that work well with them will be discussed as part of the presentation.
