Mr. Hinnebusch has eight years of experience as a professional wildlife biologist and environmental scientist, including four years with Hawk Mountain Sanctuary.
Dan teaches classes about birds and ecology for Cedar Crest College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He also participates locally in the Breeding Bird Survey, an annual international count of birds at selected points to monitor changes in bird populations.
Dan’s passion for birds is built on more than two decades of recreational birding experience and a strong interest in the natural world. His goal is to learn something new every time he goes outside.
